WAR is armed conflict between belligerent states, nations, or other parties (e.g. guerillas), prosecuted with military forces aiming to enforce the political will of the victor upon the defeated belligerent.[1] A WAR usually is an attempt to alter the political balance of power of either the psychological or the material hierarchy; of domination vs. equality, between and among the belligerents. Ideologically, one of the belligerents usually perceives an imperative political requirement to strategically dominate the other belligerent state, nation, or party.[2]
